Our Story
Patrick Walsh, founder of Provence Wine Imports Inc. was raised and educated in the French way of life. Growing up in the winemaking region of Provence, wine culture, knowledge and consumption have been and continue to be part of his daily life in France.
With a dual US-French citizenship, born in Boston, MA and having lived his youth in Aix-en-Provence, Patrick has the overview and benefits from the very way the American market functions but thinks it’s important to discover and preserve a French harmony through its flagship product and one of the pillars of its economy : wine.
“The reason for the establishment of PWI is to bring and open to American citizens high-quality and authentic certified French wines, and to shed light on the independent winegrowers of Provence. The market, currently does not represent quite the spirit of Provence's producers who know how to combine conviviality, proximity and quality. It was really important for me to open up the way to these winegrowers, producers passionately devoted to their craft and terroirs, towards consumers ever-more attracted by the French art of living.”
